For the past few days my Windows Anti Virus Protection keeps turning itself off for no apparent reason. When I go into it and click on it I only get a drop down menu. It just tells me to turn it back on but not how to do that. Today my Firewall was also off. Eventually it turned itself back on. Can anyone tell me why this is happening and how to correct it. Or how to turn my Anti Viru and Firewall back on again?1 person needs an answerI do too

There is no "Windows Anti Virus Protection". What is the actual name of the antivirus program you have installed? If it is something like "Windows Antivirus Pro" this isn't legitimate; it's a rogue security program and your computer is infected.
